EE Capital joins the consortium acquiring a strategic minority stake in Liverpool Football Club

EE Capital is a member of the consortium led by Amit Bhatia that has agreed to acquire a strategic minority stake in Liverpool Football Club from Fenway Sports Group. The consortium also includes Jeff Bezos and the Mittal family trusts.

Fenway Sports Group retains majority ownership and operational control of the club. Completion is subject to regulatory approvals.

EE Capital will not comment further on the transaction.
